Introducing Be Alice: Where Beauty Meets Sustainability
My vision for Be Alice is to create a bag line that is accessible to everyday people without compromising on style or quality. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to own a gorgeous bag at a decent price. For some, my bags may become a part of their cherished collection, while for others, it might be their one special bag that elevates their everyday style. My aim is to offer affordability without sacrificing the essence of luxury and craftsmanship.
I am passionate about crafting unique handbags that combine the beauty of upcycling with my client's individual styles. As the founder and designer, I find joy in transforming beautifully done, high-end bags into something people can continue to wear and cherish. Each upcycled bag tells a story, giving it a new lease on life and allowing bag lovers to enjoy them for years to come. The process of upcycling is not only creatively fulfilling, but also feels like solving a new puzzle with every piece we work on.
The inspiration behind my brand name, Be Alice, comes from my family's beloved St. Bernard, Alice. She embodies a mix of qualities that resonate with us - beautiful, rough, sweet, dominant, loving, and protective. Alice played a significant role in my need for a hands-free bag to navigate daily walks and training classes. Years ago, I created the first prototype that caught attention: the camo bucket, Alice Crossbody, and mini Alice bags. Since then, both Be Alice and Alice have grown together, influencing the direction of my handbag line.
